Splash Shape

Two Splashes.

This is a spark-illuminated photograph from long ago of a splash formed by a steel ball dropped into water.
The profile appears to have a subNULL lambda close to  -0.97, so is almost a conic.
The match of the left profile to a NULL path curve is remarkably good.

The match of the left profile of this splash to a NULL path curve seems even better.
